While looking for an economical, lightweight fork option for our 9:ZERO:7 frame, we decided to develop a fat tire aluminum fork. Tipping the scales at only 1015 grams, the 9:ZERO:7 aluminum fork weighs only 105 grams more than the White Brothers Snowpack carbon fork. A perfect fork for the budget-conscious weight weenie, the 9:ZERO:7 fork is the stock fork for our Susitna-level build kit.
The 9:ZERO:7 aluminum fork is rear disc brake compatible and must be used with a front disc hub using rear brake spacing. The recommended hub for the 9:ZERO:7 aluminum fork is our own 135mm front hub. Surly hubs are also compatible with this fork. Select the 468mm axle-to-crown measurment for our 170mm 9:ZERO:7 frame, or choose the 450mm for our 135mm-offset 9:ZERO:7 frame.
